Rose Petal Preserve
Rose Petal Preserve
Still known today by its old name "Rose Sugar", it comes from a 17th-century recipe. It is a blend — neither jam nor a compote, but a unique product of old pharmaceutical origin, handed down to this day.
The rose petals are separated by hand and worked with great care. They come from small producers in the hills behind Genoa and belong mainly to three varieties — Gallica, Muscosa and Rugosa — each contributing its own distinctive aromatic nuance.
