A JOURNEY TO DISTANT LANDS

At the end of the eighteenth century, Antonio Maria Romanengo reached the port of Genoa, a crossroads of people, goods, and cultures from all over the world.

Here he traded in colonial goods, selecting spices, tea, cocoa, sugar, and precious ingredients arriving from distant lands. Rare raw materials, guardians of scents, aromas, and traditions, destined to become the heart of his creations. From that connection with the port and its trade, a vision was born based on the pursuit of quality, respect for the origin of ingredients, and curiosity toward what the world had to offer.

A legacy that continues today, preserving the value of travel through the selection of raw materials.

Spice and tea shop, Milan

Beside the Confetteria and La Corte Caminadella, this shop was created as a homage to the origins of Romanengo and to the journey undertaken by Antonio Maria over two centuries ago.

Here, a selection of teas, spices, and infusions tells of distant lands through scents, colors, and aromas that span cultures and traditions. Entering this shop means following the thread of a story that continues today.
