Autumn Box of Autumn Sweets – Medium

A selection of traditional sweets prepared for All Saints' Day, dating back to the 1800s.

"Fave dolci" (sweet beans), heirs to old Etruscan and Roman religious customs, are made of almond paste and scented with cinnamon (brown), orange blossom water and vanilla (light green), and curaçao (dark green).

Sweet chestnut-shaped pieces of rum-flavoured chestnut cream sit alongside almond-paste chestnuts flavoured with rum and lemon zest and coated in 64% dark chocolate.

The "Nazarolle", inspired by the small azarole fruit, hide a heart of maraschino- and rum-flavoured chestnut.
